In 2007 after a triathlon in Bedford my wife Rosie gave me the push I needed to attempt something that has always been a dream.  I have always wanted to swim The English Channel as it is seen as one of those ultimate challenges.  A fellow triathlete has said "Everyone can run a marathon, everyone can do an ironman, but just a few attempt the channel!"

This is my page to drum up support and promote my swim to whoever might be interested.

My chosen charities are The Adolescent and Children's Trust  and Lera Town who will benefit from this attempt.  These charities are something close to my heart.

TACT is a national charity for children and young people involved with the care system. Their core services are fostering and adoption, however they also offer a range of other services to help, support, encourage and empower our young people and families.

My other charity is also about children. Lera Town Fund was set-up to build schools and provide appropriate educational fascilities for an underpriveleged community in Ethiopia.

Your donations can make a difference and this is what it is all about.

Please have a look through my pages and read about my charities but most importantly make a donation or drop me a line and just think what you can do to change someone's life.

Thanks
